Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Quentin Williams is an attorney, author, prolific international speaker, former FBI Agent, former federal prosecutor and has held positions as an executive with the NFL and NBA. He currently serves as a business adviser/strategist and legal expert with a wealth of knowledge and experience in wide-ranging areas of business. With more than 25 years of established business expertise and over 20 years of legal experience, he is a trusted confidant and well-respected educator with a lengthy record of successful deal-making and community advocacy.

This pedigree serves Quentin well as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Butler Lappert Williams Firm PC - a full-service New York City law firm. Quentin represents the legal and business interests of companies and individuals in industries including sports, entertainment, fashion, media, technology, medical, legal, financial, law enforcement and education.

Additionally, Quentin is the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Williams Media and Marketing Group, L.L.C. (“Williams Media”), a Los Angeles-based media and marketing company. Founded in 2002, Williams Media is a company dedicated to the production of independent film, television and literary projects, as well as brand development for domestic and international properties.

After graduating in the top three percent of his class from Charles E. Gorton High School in Yonkers (New York), receiving All-State football honors and being offered numerous academic and athletic scholarships from America’s leading universities, Quentin attended Boston College(“BC”) on a full football scholarship. In 1987, he received a degree in Economics from BC and then worked as an administrator with a New York City law firm for one year before attending St. John’s University School of Law (“SJUL”).

In 1991, Quentin graduated from law school with a concentration in Labor Law and worked as a litigator for one year with a New York City law firm before receiving an appointment to serve as a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”).

After several years of service and being recognized on numerous occasions by the FBI’s Director for his excellence and dedication as a law enforcement officer, Quentin accepted an offer to work with the United States Attorney’s Office in the District of Connecticut as a federal prosecutor. Quentin prosecuted both white collar and blue collar cases as an Assistant United States Attorney, and then transitioned into the world of professional sports when he accepted a job with the National Football League (“NFL”) in New York City. He worked on off-field policy issues for the NFL.

A position with the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars followed where Quentin negotiated player contracts and supervised several departments in Football Operations. The team was awarded the NFL’s “Most Outstanding Player Development Program” under Quentin’s guidance.

Subsequently, Quentin served as the Team President for the North Charleston Lowgators, a National Basketball Association minor league team that was spotlighted during its championship run in an ESPN reality series called "Down Low - Life in the D-League". While with the NBA, Quentin was selected by the Charleston Regional Business Journal as one of the city’s most influential “40 Under 40” business leaders.

A strong community leader and mentor, Quentin is an advocate for self-empowerment and service to others. He founded the not-for-profit Dedication To Community Tour, is a co-founder and Managing Director of the EndZone Luncheon Series and is a Visiting Contributor for his law school alma mater. Quentin is also on the Executive Committee for SJUL’s Ronald H. Brown Center for Civil Rights and Economic Development, the Advisory Board for SJUL’s International and Comparative Sports Law LLM Program and is a member of the Executive Committee for Seton Hall University's Center for Leadership Development. Quentin is on the Board of Directors for Samaritan’s Feet International (“SFI”), a not-for-profit organization that has had a positive impact on millions of people worldwide. He also serves as the Chair of the Sports & Entertainment Committee for SFI.

An in demand keynote speaker, Quentin has addressed business, political and community leaders at events worldwide.

Quentin was born on the island of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and raised in New York City and Yonkers. He and his wife, Brenda, have a son and a daughter.

Director of Operations

Ms. Holden has great depth of experience in the corporate and legal industries, with particular specialization in the sports, entertainment and media arenas.

The Director of Operations for both The Butler Lappert Williams Firm PC and Williams Media and Marketing Group, LLC since 2009, Laura maintains impeccable credentials as an administrator and is responsible for the overall supervision of both companies’ operations and administrative needs. Laura rejoined Quentin Williams after working with him at the National Football League in the mid-1990s. She is also the Director of National Operations for the EndZone Luncheon Series and the Director of Operations for Quentin’s not-for-profit organization, Dedication to Community.

Laura has worked for numerous international companies in the sports and entertainment industries, including the CoreStates Spectrum/Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Eagles and the National Football League. She lists her favorite projects as the building of a new arena, the development of a new team uniform and logo, second unit filming on the major motion picture Jerry Maguire and the planning and implementation of security for five Super Bowls.

Laura and her husband, Robert, have been married since 1997 and have two sons. She is an active board member in her PTA, Co-Chairing an annual fundraiser, volunteering throughout the year for PTA community projects and also lending her talents as a volunteer in the classroom.
